Des started in the building industry as an Apprentice Carpenter in 2001, from there Des worked for several developers as a carpenter and has successfully made his way from leading hand to Construction Manager.

In 2010 he started with Box&Co as a Carpenter, and after 6 months he changed his role to Site Manager, supervising the construction of commercial medium rise projects. After 2 years he moved positions to a Supervisor/Contracts Administrator in the project management team whilst also completing a Diploma in Construction.
In 2013 Des became a Project Manager for Box&Co where he successfully delivered a variety of complexed commercial projects.
Des now holds a key role as Project Team Leader for Box & Co, where his focus is on strategic project planning, resource management and risk mitigation on top of general project delivery duties. As a long-time contributor to Box & Co’s success, Des continues to be a driving force behind Box & Cos evolvement into an industry leading contractor.
